- The name of our ministry comes from the scripture readings in Matthews 17:1-9; Mark 9:2–9 and Luke 9:28-36. The story is about Jesus inviting his three disciples to join Him at Mount Tabor to pray. During the prayer time Jesus was transformed ...and a cloud appeared and the voice from the cloud said “This is my Son, whom I love, Listen to Him.” Mount Tabor Ministries, Inc. was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on September 2004 by Bishop Louis Ngomo Okitenbo, Ph.-D.
