Yet a stroll along its winding streets and well-landscaped homes would give you no hint that huge mammoths, sabre-toothed cats, lions, and bison once roamed the area. That was some 10,000 years ago, before the glacers began to melt. And had you lived here then you would have found the shoreline several miles out from where it is today.
Today Moultrie Oaks has 220 homes, and community pride shows in the tidy well-kept homes that line the streets. Our large clubhouse, which hosts frequent social activities, is being renovated
and work should be completed by mid-or late-May. A heated swimming pool is available for all residents at no extra cost.
