Founded in the fall of 2000, Monzoon Networks AG is building up a pan-European wide wireless network (wireless LAN) as a neutral network operator offering broadband Internet access and services. The wireless stationary communication infrastructure will be primarily localized and implemented by Monzoon at such key centers as Europe‘s important airports, in business hotels, conference center and trade fairs. Monzoon offers its networks to wholesale partner and/or community owners, thus providing them with the opportunity to expand their current product portfolio to the demonstrably growing need of their travelling clientele to access the Internet or the corporate network.
Our white label approach guarantees those companies their own individual and seamless integration of the Monzoon product line into their solution portfolio and it allows them to implement a targeted competitive strategy for customer retention and loyalty. They can continue to concentrate on their core business while also being able to offer customers fast and reasonably priced supplementary data communication services. Business travelers and frequent fliers, hereafter referred to as nomadic workers, are the core group for these new services.
Monzoon Networks operates in a billion-dollar business whose potential will effectively complement GPRS and UMTS technologies. Monzoon’s WLAN will give the European business community secure, fast data access at high-demand hotspots, while mobile telephone providers will ensure comprehensive communication coverage on a broad scale.
