- September 21, 2006 :: Zanesville, OH – With over four inches of rain torturing Muskingum County Speedway, Rounds 15 and 16 of the Monsters of Destruction National Monster Truck Series would feature more incredible racing only seen at an MOD event. .002 seconds would separate Doug Noelke in Big Dawg and Dan Patrick in Samson in the finals of Straight Line Drag Racing in Round 15 with Noelke taking home his first MOD victory at his first round of MOD competition. Rounding out the field would be Rick Swanson in Obsession placing third, Diehl Wilson in Virginia Giant placing fourth, Rick Long in Bigfoot finished in fifth, and Public Disturbance and Monster Moose would finish sixth and seventh.
