- Jerry Baldwin has lived in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, the plains of Wyoming, New York City, and the peaceful valleys of Western Montana. His first piece of ceramic art emerged from the kiln when he was just 6 years old. Baldwin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Montana in 2001. Shortly afterward, he settled in Arlee, Montana, where Mission Mountain Pottery began. Baldwin's work centers around wood-fired ceramics. His ceramic vessels tell a story of antiquity in modern times.
