Due to the signing of the comprehensive peace agreement on January 9, 2005 in Nairob, Kenya, between the Sudan Government and the Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement (SPLM/A), projects related to Sudan are currently our top priority.
Salam Sudan Foundation welcomes the peace-centered approach to the resolution of conflicts, locally and globally, which made the signing of the Sudanese peace agreement on January 9th, 2005 possible. To make this peace process irreversible we will now focus on working with both the public and the private sector, foundations, faith-based and academic institutions and corporations, to support the following:
• Sustainable Peace & Development: SSF will continue to cooperate with concerned individuals,organizations and government agencies to sustain the peace process and expand it to Darfur and the Beja by encouraging political compromise and addressing the
