About Us
Milen Day Centre (MDC) has been in existence since March 1988 and caters for the welfare needs of Asian elders in Batley. Over the years, MDC has continued to develop its services and has made significant progress in raising awareness of the needs of the Asian elderly. At MDC our priority is to provide a range of quality services for Asian elders.
To provide social contact for frail, housebound, isolated older people living in their homes, which improves their quality of life and provides relief and support for their carers
To make links with appropriate voluntary and statutory agencies and to work with them towards maintaining the independence of the elderly in the community.
