Description
Microsilica NZ was formed in 1994 by a New Zealand entrepreneur Mr Robert Hall who had recognised the unique properties of the silica deposits in the Rotorua area, in the central North Island of New Zealand.
In February 2000 the Company was acquired by Golden Bay Cement. Golden Bay Cement is part of the Fletcher Building Ltd group of Companies and is New Zealand’s largest cement manufacturer and distributor.
Microsilica NZ’s association with Golden Bay Cement ensures substantial technical backup and ongoing research for Microsilica 600 and the availability of this technical knowledge to customers.
