Description
The Mornington Health Centre was established more than twenty years ago and has expanded to such a degree that it is now one of the largest health centres in New Zealand.
Located in Dunedin's pleasant Mornington suburb, the practice attracts patients from all suburbs of Dunedin as well as other towns throughout the province of Otago.
Currently, there are twelve doctors practising at the health centre. Five of these are female GPs. This means that there are always appointments available with at least one doctor. Each of the doctors also pursues their own interests within the sphere of general practice, with many gaining additional qualifications in their endeavours to keep their skills as current as possible. Sports medicine, the care of the elderly, obstetrics, and travel medicine are just a few of the many examples.
