- Sheridan Borth, locally known as just Sheri, was born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma (the best of both worlds). She got her first taste for sales as a Campfire Girl. She was told whoever sold the most candy would go to camp. Her mother was editor of a newspaper, and her father owned a department store. After school one afternoon she got the candy to sell and sold until late that evening when one of her customers called her parents around 10:00 p.m. It seems she was still out selling the candy. And, she DID go to camp that summer.
