Mendocino Glove Company, based in the Northern California town of Ukiah, was formed as a sole proprietorship in 1994 by Bob and Marge Giuntoli. Bob began in the glove business in 1970 as a distributor for Portland Glove Company of Carlton, Oregon. Following the closure of that plant several years ago, he decided to start his own business and continue servicing the customers he had been selling gloves to for almost a quarter of a century.
Mendocino Glove Company offers efficient service, high quality merchandise, and product knowledge. The past decades have seen many changes in industrial technology, safety requirements, and consumer demand. The economy has become less resource based, and do-it-yourself renovation appears to be continuing into the millennium. The companies we choose to supply us with products have remained on the cutting edge of the industry, thereby allowing us to offer our customers the latest in style, value, and efficiency.
