Melvin McGee and William Behun, principals in the firm, have over 50 years of experience in architectural design within a broad range and scale of project types including custom residences, commercial buildings, churches, schools, retail stores and other projects.
The design and construction of an architectural project can be lengthy and complex, but it is also a logical and systematic process. We can assist you through every step of the design and construction process. We work with you to: formulate raw ideas and concepts, establish a budget for the project, develop the design, obtain review board and government agency approvals, select consultants (i.e. Structural and Civil Engineers, Landscape Architect, Interior Designer, etc.), prepare the technical drawings for the permits and construction, recommend and select a General Contractor, observe and administer the actual construction of the project.
In addition to meeting the budget and schedule, and providing for essential needs (i.e., number of bedrooms, bathrooms, roof that doesn't leak, etc.), we feel that a project should enrich the lives of its occupants and users.
