Short Bio
Michael McCay, born in Bad Toelz, Germany, studied communications and film theory at Munich LMU University, graduating with MA honors at the Academy of Film and Television (HFF, Prof. Reimers). He then worked as head of publicity and as marketing manager for Kinowelt Filmdistribution and went on to co-found the Munich based Picture Planet Filmproduction GmbH , which he managed as an associate partner for two years.
Being a member of ProSieben's TV Movie department, Michael selected many promising screenplay concepts and regularly helped directors, authors and production companies to improve their scripts. While still doing lots of Script-Consulting, Michael recently has been in the process of developing his own Screenplay material and is currently working on several first drafts.
