The initial product line offered by the company consisted of a handful of products licensed from Supelco, Inc. Over the next decade, company sales increased by four fold, primarily as a result of the addition of a significant number of new products.

Matreya LLC is committed to the development and manufacture of lipids and biochemicals of the highest quality and value to our customers. Our experience in chemical synthesis and the extraction and purification of natural products allows us to achieve 98% or 99% purity, the best attainable using state-of-the-art techniques.

In order to insure a viable pipeline of new products, we strive to maintain and develop close working relationships with leading academics. We continually solicit their advice in specialty areas, particularly with regard to expanding our product line. As custom preparations often lead to important new products, we make every effort to accommodate the needs of our customers by being committed to offering a wide range of custom products. We generally quote 80% of the requests we receive for custom synthesis, guaranteeing delivery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on complexity and difficulty of the synthesis.
