The foundations and framework are laid for larger units to cope with increased production. The first units were built by hand by the original employees.
An early sales success resulted in the design and manufacture of a unique heavy duty bi-planar overhead chain conveyor, shown to the left. This proved so successful that several were sold, directly leading to the company specialising in conveyor design and mechanical handling.
