Her experience in the world of high fashion ultimately led to her true vocation, that of interior decorating. Her educational background includes the University of Washington, the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Los Angeles Institute of Interior Design. Marti’s professional experiences have also given her tremendous exposure to Europe and the Far East, broadening her knowledge of period and cultural styles.
