Many Moons Design carefully disassembles old barns, fences, and warehouses to recycle high quality antique reclaimed lumber. We believe the lumber reclaimed from these early American buildings has unmatched quality and characteristics not found in new lumber. Many Moons creates beautiful recycled furniture, reclaimed flooring, timber frames, and custom mill work from this highly sought after resource.
Many Moons strives to be eco friendly and sustainable in regards to our environment and economy. We use only local labor in typically rural communities to produce our products. This helps support people that would otherwise struggle to find work, and it minimizes the environmental impact of transporting our raw materials from where they originate.
Our mill and fleet of vehicles all run on our own bio diesel blend. We have recently converted our mill work equipment to run with hydraulic motors powered by a diesel generator running on vegetable oil we are fortunate to collect locally. Also, our vehicles run on the same bio diesel we make. Many Moons Design has almost a decade of experience working with reclaimed lumber, and hopes to continue on for decades.
