Terry Mallaghan like other members of his family pursued an engineering career. His interest took him to many parts of Europe and the Far East. It was out of these journeys that he identified a business opportunity in the manufacture and supplying of Airport Ground Support Equipment.
Having identified a need within the aviation industry for schedule streamlining, Mallaghan Engineering embarked on a detailed programme of research and development the result of which is the LBT90 and BT92, a unique multi purpose aircraft loading system.
Apart from achieving up to a 50% reduction in baggage delivery times, this product offers considerable cost advantages over traditional equipment, combining the functions of the conventional conveyor, towing tractor and baggage cart system, thus reducing equipment requirements with a resultant significant reduction in ramp congestion and manpower.
