Description
This web site started out in early 2000, when I was experimenting with web sites and decided to make one to honour Malcolm X. It underwent several transformations as my knowledge and understanding of both Malcolm X and web design developed. This is probably the fourth incarnation of the web site. This time, an emphasis has been placed on making data easy to view and access.
This site seeks to present Malcolm X within an Islamic context. This is not because I'm particularly Islamic myself, but because this is a viewpoint that is often mis- and underrepresented. On the other hand, among Muslims it is sometimes overrepresented.
As for myself, I am not of African descent, nor am I an American. My name is Noaman Ali (a.k.a. nomes), I am the webmaster of this site. I am Canadian and am of Indo-Pakistani descent.
