- The existence of mtb# is pretty much down to Northernroutes (RIP), which listed hundreds of routes in Memory Map and Tracklogs formats, as well as some mapped routes. It allowed me to find new places to go on my bike when I was initially exploring outside my local area, and I began to collect all the routes in the general Yorkshire region. Then I found other sites and other routes (see links) and collected those too. Pretty soon my copy of Memory Map had slowed to a crawl because of the numbers of routes - I needed to do some spring cleaning!
