- Lysthus is the place where thoughts prepare the way for modified living spaces, establishing individual spaces from which the world can be experienced and understood. Lysthus is both a presentation and a place. It offers a space in which spontaneity - in both the preparation of and the production of work - elicits elements such as performance, bodywork, setting, speak, voice, sound, text, installation and dairy. Lysthus "Tankefuld" will be built (medio 2007) at Syrenvej no. 51, 9310 Vodskov. DK. The project can, in actuality, take place anywhere, its nature adapting itself according to the functionality and conditions of the location. Lysthus works with seeing art as a sociocultural production which can help to solve society's problems in unconventional ways. Lysthus is based on investigations from the How Scandinavian of Me project. Lysthus, in English translates to Gazebo/Arbour.
