- In 1978, the Ontario Lupus Association (OLA) was founded by Honey Agar, and The Lupus Society of Hamilton (LSH) was founded by Joan McKee. The two organizations operated separately for over twenty-five years before merging as Lupus Ontario. Pictures of last meeting of LSH, and first meeting of LO. Lupus Ontario is a member organization of Lupus Canada.
