LtdEditionPrints.com uses the latest 1440dpi ink jet technology to produce state of the art true color reproductions of images taken by world-renowned photographers. Each image is individually printed and numbered. All prints have the title of the piece, and the photographer's name printed in a graphically pleasing manner on the borders surrounding the image itself. This method insures a "Unique Look" to each piece and enhances the overall collectibility of the print.
Each print is produced using a unidirectional traveling head instead of the industry standard bi-directional traveling head. This method doubles the time necessary to produce the print but substantially increases the quality of the end product. The 6 color pigmented inks used to produce the prints yield the most permanent and stable images available today. In tests conducted by Wilhelm Imaging Inc and other prominent research institutions the pigmented inks have shown to outlast standard photographic paper up to 10 times.
