Users of this system can develop a fulfilled and happy life, or at least enhance life systematically without recourse to external authorities, philosophies, or religions. Any current authorities or religions will not be harmed in the process, unless they declare a monopoly on enlightenment (which is silly).
Lord Mhor is a mascot of sorts, or an alter-ego, or perhaps just a satire of the author. You decide. Better yet, let the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) decide.
Those who dig will run into the "Kronian Matrix", which is hidden in plain sight. It is a bit more complicated than the "Tiny Sacred Text" but produces the same result in the end.
