- LobbyControl is a new German civil society initiative that provides information on lobbying, PR campaigns and think tanks and promotes transparency and democracy. LobbyControl is a registered non-profit organisation. It has been founded in late 2005 by a small group of people coming from academia and civil society . Contact person and one of the main initiators of the project is the political scientist Ulrich Mueller. From 2001 to early 2005 he worked for the human rights organisation FIAN, before that at the Max Planck-Institut for the Study of Societies.
