Craniosacral Therapy in London, North London and Devon by Lol Kane
Description
About me
I began my foundation training in Craniosacral Therapy at The Karuna Institute in Devon in 1995, qualifying and registering with the Craniosacral Therapy Association in 1996. Since then I have continued with ongoing professional development, undertaking a series of post-graduate CST seminars at the Institute, as well as a more process-oriented practitioner training with Mike Boxhall
I discovered this my life’s work in the middle part of my life, building upon “an invisible foundation of experience” (to borrow from the poet David Whyte). A large part of this experience has been derived from cultivating slowly over the last twenty six years a discipline in the contemplative practice of Dzogchen, a teaching that is integral to both Buddhism and the Tibetan Bon tradition.
My other interests include being a part of an ongoing men’s group ; practising Qi Gong (could definitely do better!); an appreciation of poetry (inspired by David Whyte and others); and simply being in nature – I am fortunate enough to live in South Devon, close to Dartmoor, but also close to the coast. I work from home part of the week - just being there resources my clients as much as it does me.
