Foundation
The Belgian Lipizzan Studbook was founded in 1979 as a non profit organization for owners and amateurs of Lipizzan horses. Since then we have evolved: the total amount of members and horses have grown extensively just like our aspirations.
Membership is possible by paying the annual contribution to the organization. Make sure to contact us if you would like more information about becoming a member. It is the General Assembly who chooses the board of directors amongst her members.
Our fundaments are laid out in the statutory articles of the association . The practical functioning is described in a set of internal regulations .
