Lighting Direct is a privately owned company operating out of modern office/factory premises in Werrington, a town 6 miles north of the fast expanding city of Peterborough.
Three brothers, Mike, Peter and Jamie Hurford, formed the company in the early nineties manufacturing an innovative lighting product – the mirror reflector.
Opened by Lord John Major, at the time soon to be Prime Minister, the company was heralded for their commitment to energy conservation, a belief that is as true today. Today, eldest brother Mike Hurford, a pioneer of lighting conservation is the company Chief Executive.
