Description
Laurel Antiques is a family venture that has been in business for over 15 years. We do major antique shows primarily up and down the east coast. For several years we maintained booths in group shops located in Maine and New Hampshire. We now concentrate on shows, direct trade with regular clients, and our website. We have narrowed our specialties to handpainted porcelain, art pottery, fine costume jewelry, purses, and accessories. We are known for selling beautiful Limoges and American Belleek. We do like to experiment with other lines of merchandise, so you never know what you will find offered for sale here, so check all categories.
We are members of the American Collectors and Dealers Association. Bob is also a member of AAPA (American Art Pottery Association) and focuses on artist signed Rookwood, Newcomb, Weller, Hampshire, Pillin, and the occasional Grueby, SEG, and decorated Marblehead.
Alicia was born October 23, 1933, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Lezak in Cleveland, Ohio. Gifted at an early age with an exceptional singing voice, she was educated by tutors in languages, art, dance, piano, and especially in voice. A favorite of the large Hungarian community of eastside Cleveland and well known as Lezak Ica, she sang for weddings, on radio, in dinner clubs and other Cleveland venues in the early 50’s.
