Before having an epiphany about how there was no way that I was going to spend the rest of my life sitting in front of a stupid computer, I used to make my living as an online marketer and publisher.
I started marketing online in 1989, building web sites in 1994, managing web development and internet marketing programs programs in 1996, and practicing search engine optimization in 1998. One hightlight of my early internet days was being called a "marketing guru" by internet business pioneer Mark Welch.
