Landsker Child Care is a Wales based company currently operating three registered children’s homes in West Wales, an independent registered school and an Outreach Support service to children and young across Wales.
Established in 2000 by a core team dedicated to excellence, we are vastly experienced in residential child care and have an exceptionally high success rate in terms of placement length and positive outcomes. We have built and maintained very successful relationships with many Welsh local authorities who continue to place children with us. This, we believe, is a mark of the excellent service we provide and the consistent success we have in empowering young people to move on purposefully and with focus. We are child focused and tailor our care packages around the individual needs of the child.
We are committed to a long term future within this sector and intend to expand further. We recognise the need for children to be placed as near as possible to their family, and how important social and educational networks are. It is for this reason that only Welsh children from Welsh placing authorities live in our homes. We are also mindful of the likelihood that future legislation will require children to be placed closer to ‘home’.
