June 2001 to Current – Training Narcotic and Explosive Detection K-9’s, and Search and Rescue K-9’s, for Law Enforcement use and Private security with Jim Hornbeck.
July 2002 – Received approval from Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training to offer a Narcotic Detection K-9 handler class to law enforcement personnel for credit in Missouri and 17 additional states.
During these years I have trained many dogs and handlers for narcotic and explosive detection. We have also held successful yearly spring seminars, which have allowed people to come together, share ideas, and solve problems that may have arisen in their working K-9s. I have made great friends and colleges and appreciate all the support and knowledge that I have gained.
