Provides Gymnastic Training

The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics 2009 Winter Camp Program is the perfect answer for your child's need for structured activity. Los Angeles School of Gymnastics is the largest gymnastics facility in Los Angeles. Campers use the three 3,000 foot spring tumbling floors, full-size trampolines, rings and pommel horse, bungee cords, multiple beam and bar stations, spotting belts and the foam filled pit. The LA School of Gymnastics, a nonprofit established in the mid-1970s, supports primarily young athletes in Greater Los Angeles by providing safe and effective training under the supervision of its qualified staff of coaches. Leveraging more than a century of combined experience, the coaching staff helps participants meet goals ranging from toddler motor improvement to Olympic-level performance. In addition to promoting the development of healthy and confident young people, the programs at the LA School of Gymnastics help students round out the extracurricular activity sections of their college applications.

For children with special needs, the school offers a nationally recognized program that uses athletic techniques as a method for rehabilitation. The program utilizes staff members who hold special training in assisting children with such conditions as autism and Down syndrome. The center also offers adult programs taught by its highly trained coaches multiple times a week.

As a nonprofit organization, the training center relies on the support of the community. Donations go toward essential equipment that allows for the continued operation and maintenance of the facility and also toward scholarships and program development.
