About the Author
I'm Aram Kudurshian, a senior attending Hamilton College in oh-so-warm upstate New York. We're the controversial liberal arts college whose main claim to fame is the now disbanded, varsity streak team. Seriously though, Hamilton is a wonderful academic environment and I'm proud to be studying here.
I'm working towards a double-concentration in Computer Science and Economics. Being that Hamilton has no core requirements (except for a few writing intensive course), I'm also exploring other fields such as art history, creative writing, comparative literature, and even physics (trust me, pure sciences scare me).
My background's quite interesting. Born in a small town in Finland, I'm an American and Finnish citizen who has lived most of my life in Europe, switching between London and Nice. English is my mother tongue and I can get by well enough in both French and Finnish. Unfortunately, even with my Armenian name, heritage, and love for food, I can't speak any Armenian. I graduated high school in 2002 from the International School of Nice, completing a two-year intensive IB program. Each summer I spend about a month in Finland, taking in the wonderful nature, food, and culture. In all honesty, there's nothing like biking 10 miles to a summer cabin in the middle of the woods, situated next to a lake, then taking a 100 C Sauna, and then returning after having enjoyed the requisite kalja and makkara.
