- I've been in the Candle Business for many years as a Mfg, I retired years ago after I sold the business here in WA. I first opened in Vero Beach FL with 15 rep and 5 show rooms selling wholesale. I also opened on retail store on the beach in Vero Beach FL. All went well until the gasoline ran out in 1972. No wax to be had in the USA. So I sold the building and packed up the factory and moved to WA and started again selling mostly wholesale because that is what I like is to sell.
