About Us:
Kona Sea Sports, is an activity of Lelah Sport Fishing, Inc., a Hawaii Corporation. Shogun, Kona's finest 32 foot Boston Whaler Sport Fisher Express, has been fishing Kona's waters since 1991 and has a reputation for raising fish.
Shogun has comfortable helm seating, a large cockpit with fighting chair, a full tower with dual controls, galley, a marine head and forward V-berth. She is equipped with autopilot, GPS with fish finder, VHF Radio and she carries USCG required safety equipment including an EPIRB. She is equipped with Penn International Reels.
Captain Rayjay holds a 50 Ton Master's License issued by the United States Coast Guard and is a PADI Certified Divemaster. As owner/operator Captain Ray (Rayjay) Kalman has been at the helm since 2001. He has been diving Kona Reefs since 1982 and fishing Kona's waters since 1997. In addition to his fishing and diving experience, Captain Rayjay has over 40 years of professional experience in the Recreation/Adventure and Boating Industry.
