- Knot Genre was formed out of the pieces of several other bands. Dave (DCON) Conway and Mark Boone (Bark Moon), the band founders, have played in many bands with each other through the years. While the styles of music have ranged from 80's hair bands to folk music, the same commitment to the music and love of pleasing their audience have been the founding ideal for Knot Genre. However, catering to the audience may have gone just a bit farther in this one!!!
