(Statistic from www.va.gov/pressrel/amwars01.htm ) Our World War II Veterans are dying at a rate of about 1,100 per day. It is estimated that there will only be one living WWI Veteran in the year 2018. At this time we have approximately 3,432,216 living WWII Veterans but this number will be down to approximately 211,584 by September 30, 2020. (Statistics from the Department of Veteran`s Affairs)
