- OUR KITCHEN IS A STATE LICENSED and INSPECTED KITCHEN. Kickshaw Confections is a family owned and run business. All confections are made in our home. We take extra care to insure quality control and safety while in our kitchen. Before each batch of candy is made we wipe down everything with our own homemade cleaner that is free of chemicals. Confectioners wear their hair back and gloves. We control the climate with a dehumidifier. We guarantee good quality choice confections come out of our kitchen. When we are preparing foods that need to be cooked we only use titanium cookware. Our cookware does not contain a non-stick coating.
