Katorent.com was meant to originally be a website for finding available apartments in and around the Mankato area, and more specifically, Minnesota State University. The sites developers were close to launching the site, which would have helped students find apartments, until they lost all and any desire to live in Mankato. As it stands right now the website talks more of the downsides of living in Mankato, and attempts to warn future students and residents of exactly just how bad Mankato is.
