Description
Falaraki is located at the north east part of Rhodes, about 14 km from the city of Rhodes and about 10km from the airport. The beautiful resort area is part of the Kalithies village, which is about 1km away.
Faliraki was established in the late sixties, with just a couple of small beach tavernas, catering mainly to the few Greek visitors and fishermen. Until the end of the sixties, Faliraki was just another argricultural area, well known f or the superb tasting grapes figs and tomatoes.
At the beginning of the seventies, FALIRAKI started to attract more and more tourist f rom many parts of Europe. Within a few years thanks to the beautiful and long sandy Beach, Faliraki visitors increased to several thousands and many hotels and RENTAL apartments were built.
