Kadru - Kadr? the daughter of Daksha, wife of Kashyapa, and the mother of the Nagas. In the mythology of India, Kadru (Kadr? in IAST notation, Devanagari: ?????), is usually the daughter of Daksha, wife of Kashyapa, and the mother of the Nagas. This is according to the Mahabharata (Adi Parva). In some accounts, derived from the Ramayana, she is however the daughter of Kasyapa and Krodhava??, who is another daughter of Daksha.
