- Josie Crosby has been playing throughout New England for the last five years. She is a prolific songwriter with a generous catalog of original material. Her songs delve into the emotional side of world and personal events, drawing the listener in with her powerful vocal styling. She has recently joined forces with some of South County's most talented musicians and they are shaping into a new and innovative band. Tom Champlin released eight albums with Plan 9 and toured the US as well as Canada. He joined the Jungle Dogs and was a 'Rock Hunt' winner in 1990. He had been active in several other groups before his involvement in the creation of this project. Bill Lawing has been playing drums for many years in various original bands... including Shiver, Fat Glass and Superbug with whom he also won the 'Rock Hunt'. Chris Hackett is the owner of MoJo Music Shop in Westerly. He has been involved in numerous groups and has had the pleasure of playing with Gram Thompson in a project called Anderson Counsel. Although it is nearly impossible to confine this group to one genre, one could describe them as roots-infused rock. Their use of tone and dynamics lock ahold of the listener as the lyrics engage the mind.
