I know that the term "Industrial Psychologist" makes some people think that I must do counseling for people who are stressed out by the brutalities of modern work. I don't. I do talk to people a good deal about their work, and do spend some time coaching people about work and career issues, but I'm certainly not a counselor or therapist. I'm an Industrial Psychologist.
