My work stems from an exploration of artists “self” and the way an artist is manipulated by inspiration, melancholia and the divine. In exploring my identity as an artist I desire to create reminders to humankind of the "something more" about man...that cannot be known -the "potential divinity" which resides within all human beings that is forgotten in the grind of everyday life.
