Minnesota native Jim Larson has been sculpting for over a quarter century. His formal training includes the study of anatomy at the University of Minnesota, a BFA degree in Sculpture from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and study at the International Student Art Center in Florence, Italy. During his eight year adventure in Italy, he developed a profound relationship with marble, and taught sculpture and drawing at Trinity College and St. Stephen's School in Rome.
