Background
Founded in the beginning of 2000 with the aim of bringing internet best-practice (gained through working on accounts such as Nokia, Universal and Natwest) to the not-for-profit sector. Our goal is to provide sites which are easy for their target audience to use, and intuitive for all staff members to keep up-to-date. We are also one of the foremost organisations in the UK addressing accessibility issues on the web, providing WAI level 2 ("double A") compliant sites as a standard.
All our services are supplied in-house. This gives our clients a single point of contact for all their technical requirements. It also allows Jamkit to provide integrated solutions: for example, our technical services are designed from the ground up to support accessibility.
Process
Our project management process is designed to give our clients full visibility over the project from the very first day. The Webfactory, our standards-based Content Management System, allows editors to change any content on the site without fear of breaking the built in accessibility or e-government features.
