- I grew up in a small town in Northwest Missouri called Fairfax. It is a farming community with about 600 people. I was always interested in building things so when I was in high school I began working at the local lumberyard. I gained some good architectural experience there working on the construction of Golden Triangle Energy in Craig, MO.
