After I have started to use Polish letters in Polish texts, I have decided to use more pure text editors, because AOLPress had bad habit to change special characters into equivalent HTML codes, and I did not like it. Netscape Composer was the same bad in this matter, while Microsoft tools create a lot uf useless codes.

Do you know anything better for text recognition than Russian OCR program Fine Reader? It seems, it is the best now (30.05.2001). And it is cheap.
