The JTAG/Boundary-scan solution
Often referred to as the JTAG standard after the Joint Test Action Group that developed it, the IEEE 1149.1 boundary-scan standard has been adopted industry-wide. Via the JTAG interface, boundary-scan solves test access problems introduced by advanced IC packages such as BGAs (Ball Grid Arrays). JTAG Technologies, the world leader in IEEE 1149.1 boundary-scan applications, provides a wide range of proven solutions for JTAG testing, in-system flash programming and JTAG 1149.1 and IEEE 1532 in-system PLD programming of complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and systems.
